Philippos Hotel - Athens

Our stay was enhanced by the stunning Acropolis view from our balcony and the attentive staff who made us feel welcomed. The surprise Valentine's gift added a lovely touch to our trip.

Nice stay, as always. Bright room with an exceptionally comfortable bed and an excellent internet. Lots of food available in the terrace. Courteous service throughout the hotel. Late check out.

Staying here was a wonderful experience! The location couldn't be better, great to explore the Acropolis and the charming Plaka district with ease. The staff greeted us warmly and even provided helpful tips for our daily adventures-all while accommodating our precious dog.

In my wife's opinion, it would be great if the hotel had more family-friendly amenities.

The location was excellent for exploring the Acropolis and Plaka area on foot. The hotel public areas and room were very clean. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They will help you arrange anything you need. The rooms are small and plain, but the beds are very comfortable.

The internet connection was very unreliable. I was never able to get signal in my room and could only sometimes get connected on my own laptop in the lobby area. The hotel has two computers for guest use. They seemed to work ok. Internet was 6 Euros per day or you could buy 1 hour for 3 Euros and I think 1/2 hour for 2 Euros. I finally learned not to bother buying a days worth!

The room was clean and well-maintained, although the room and the bathroom were both quite small. The location of the hotel was excellent for visiting Athens and the area was very quiet.

The breakfast was not very exciting. An anti-slip mat for the bath should be provided.

The location was fantastic, providing easy access to major attractions within walking distance. The included breakfast was a nice perk, with decent options to start the day. The family room felt cramped compared to other nearby accommodations, which could be restrictive for larger groups.

Lovely comfortable public rooms to relax or have a drink in. Helpful & polite staff. Proximity to metro & historical sites. Very quiet.

No extractor in the bathroom

We actually stayed at their sister hotel about a block away. The Philippos Hotel upgraded us due to overbooking. They are owned by the same organization.

This place is super close to the Acropolis and has a rooftop view that takes your breath away! We felt right at home each night. Even with the cozy room, it was perfect for a solo traveler to get some quality rest after exploring.

Great location and friendly vibes

Spent 2 nights here, and I gotta say, the location is perfect for visiting the Acropolis. The staff were super friendly, and our room had a small balcony to chill on. Only bummer was that the room felt kinda dated, definitely could use some updates like better sockets and a better shower setup.

There's a cozy lounge to relax in and the terrace made for a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The only downside was that the room was a bit tight, but overall, it was a solid experience 😊

Super close to Popular attractions like the Acropolis and a ten-minute ride to the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center. The staff were friendly and really helpful, and the breakfast spread was great. Highly recommend enjoying drinks at the bar after a long day of exploring!

One downside was the room size. It felt a bit cramped for our group. We were hardly in there.

It was just a balanced option for a short layover in Athens with great value for money. The breakfast selection had something for everyone, a nice surprise. Always buy a multi-ticket for the Acropolis to save some cash.

This is a very clean, perfectly located hotel! Right next to the Acropolis Museum.

The breakfast was ok. Good yoghurt, tons of sweets and hard boiled eggs. No water, too much sweets and not enough fruit.
